VortexAir Hybrid exceeds expectations at family home in Hampshire
In Autumn 2018, the heating system for a rural property in Hampshire was upgraded during which a Grant VortexAir air source heat pump/ oil boiler hybrid was installed. The installation of this innovative heating product now keeps the household warm, cleverly combining renewable energy with the trusted elements of an oil boiler.

Two Vortex Pro Utility boilers are keeping a converted farmhouse in Buckinghamshire warm and cosy
A large farmhouse has been converted into a seven bedroom property with the renovation involving the installation of two Vortex Pro Utility system oil fired boilers along with one of Grant’s Header Control Systems. The spacious home is now not only enjoying efficient heating but the householder is also able to precisely control their property’s heating requirements.

Based in Newbury, Berkshire, Howard Porter founded Polgate Ltd some 35 years ago. Formerly a Chartered Surveyor, he saw the opportunity to start his own company and has never looked back, developing mainly new build residential and commercial properties within around 25 miles of Newbury.
