A new episode of Grant UK’s podcast, the Net Zero Heating Show, is now available to listen to and, for the first time, watch! The latest episode is available to download via the main podcast platforms, including Apple Podcasts and Spotify, with a video version also available to view via Grant UK’s YouTube Channel.
After first launching in Spring 2022, the Net Zero Heating Show podcast from Grant UK focuses on sustainable heating solutions, discussing a range of topics relating to products, legislation and sustainable technologies, with its listeners - heating professionals - always at the forefront of the minds of the hosts and guests. In October, Episode 14 was released with host Rob Dyer being joined by Damon Blakemore, from Blakemore Renewables, to discuss the role of controls in heat pump systems. Regular listeners can enjoy this new episode traditionally via their preferred podcast platforms or they can watch the episode by visiting Grant UK’s YouTube Channel.
During this latest episode, called ‘Getting smart with heat pump controls’, Rob and Damon talk about the important role that heat pump controls play in heat pump system efficiency, discuss the different types of heat pump systems available and how controls can affect a heat pump’s operation when incorrectly and correctly set up. Damon also talks about some of his recent heat pump installations, including one where he has fitted the Aerona Smart Controller for one of his customers.
“We were thrilled to welcome Damon Blakemore to our Head Office to record the first filmed episode of our popular podcast,” comments Anna Wakefield, Head of Internal Sales and Marketing at Grant UK. “Since our first episode, the Net Zero Heating Show has attracted thousands of listeners and we are excited to make our latest episode more accessible than ever with a video version also available. The conversation between Rob, one of our knowledgeable Technical Sales Support Engineers, and Damon is very insightful, and I recommend the Podcast to anyone with an interest in heat pumps. Being able to watch the episode as well is a bonus which we hope both existing and new fans of the Net Zero Heating Show will enjoy.”
