Grant UK’s Training Academy delivers two ERS training courses which are available to heating professionals either seeking a new qualification or applying to renew their current certification. These ERS courses include unvented hot water storage system training and water supply regulations training and when engineers complete their ERS qualifications at Grant UK’s Training Academy, they can be confident of receiving high quality training from our dedicated Trainers.
The ERS training courses are important for heating professionals who are involved in installing, maintaining and inspecting hot water systems, including unvented hot water systems. A key aspect of the ERS unvented hot water storage systems (UHWS) training is safety, educating engineers and installers about the safe working practices for correctly installing and maintaining unvented hot water systems which operate under mains water pressure. The ERS water supply regulations (WREGS) training also provide heating professionals with knowledge of the latest regulations relating to water supply and water fitting, essential for anyone working within the plumbing and heating sector. It is important to note that both of these qualifications will be required by heating professionals who are seeking the OFTEC air source heat pump installer qualification (OFT21-504A) as they are essential pre-requisites for this course.
